Overview
A gamified mobile app designed to increase brand advocacy and strengthen community engagement through missions, rewards, and social interaction.
Trebbble partnered with Reciclata to design and build The Positive App, a gamification-based mobile experience created for the Amita Motion brand. The goal was to activate a young, dynamic community by encouraging participation through playful challenges, social interaction, and meaningful rewards.
The app enables users to discover and complete branded missions, collect points, and redeem rewards—all through simple, mobile-first interactions such as taking photos directly from their device. Leaderboards, likes, and comments foster friendly competition and cross-player engagement, turning individual actions into a shared community experience.
User engagement is further amplified through OPAL, Trebbble’s customer engagement platform. OPAL powers timely, personalised notifications that inform users about new missions, rewards, and social activity, helping sustain participation and reinforce long-term brand connection.

Challenge
The primary challenge was balancing a simple, intuitive mobile experience with rich gamification mechanics that motivate users to actively participate. The app needed to feel light, playful, and aligned with Amita Motion’s youthful brand identity—without overwhelming users or creating friction.
From a technical perspective, the product had to support a high volume of user-generated content, including photos and interactions, while maintaining smooth performance and responsive animations across iOS and Android. Ensuring scalability, visual consistency, and real-time engagement at community level was critical to the success of the platform.
