A mobile app that enables users to trade in their smartphones in minutes, promoting sustainable consumption through a fast and intuitive digital experience.

Working along with ambitious startups that are dedicated to make our planet more sustainable is always thrilling.

When Pandas invited us to help them towards their goal to save tons of extra Co2, through giving tech an extra life, we could not refuse the challenge. The goal was to replace a traditionally complex, in-store trade-in process with a seamless mobile experience that users can complete from home.

We crafted an intuitive iOS and Android app that allows users to evaluate their device, receive a fair trade-in quote, and complete the process in just a few minutes. By focusing on clarity, trust, and ease of use, the Pandas app turns a typically lengthy, 3-week trade-in journey into a simple, mobile-first experience.

Our Role

UX/UI Design iOS & Android App Design

Challenge

The main challenge was transforming a traditionally physical, time-consuming trade-in process into a fast, remote, and user-friendly mobile experience. Users needed to evaluate their device accurately, understand its condition, and trust the resulting trade-in quote—without friction or confusion.

Trebbble focused on reducing cognitive load, guiding users step by step, and designing clear visual feedback throughout the journey. Ensuring trust, transparency, and ease of completion across device evaluation, quoting, and finalisation was critical to driving adoption and conversion within the app.
