Mobile promotion for HEINEKEN

Trebbble joined forces with re|direct, an independent, ideas-driven, media neutral agency, with a goal to create an innovative and disruptive promotion for Heineken. The outcome of this cooperation is a modern mobile application for iPhone and Android, which enables users to scan a QR in a virtual fridge, named THE FRIDGE, and have the chance to enjoy the loved beer, Heineken!

The main role of Trebbble was on the development of the mobile applications. The creator and the owner of THE FRIDGE mobile application is re|direct.

THE CHALLENGE


Ensure that the QR scanner, the core functional component of the mobile applcations, would operate flawlessly under different outdoor lighting and weather conditions so as to provide seamless support for the Heineken promotional project. In parallel, the mobile applications should communicate the value of the Heineken brand and ensure a memorable impression via a clean, easy-to-use interface.
